The text used in this sound piece is a quotation from Aldous Huxley´s “The Gioconda Smile”. The short story lays a rather satirical eye on the superficial love affairs of a self-centred protagonist.

This tune now focuses on the human condition of hovering between the need for deep connection and the need for autonomy, still keeping in mind, the most mysterious and fascinating smile of La Gioconda, also known as Da Vinci´s Mona Lisa, which seems to balance both antipodes almost perfectly.
